who am i
a question we plague ourselves with
day in
and day out
who am i
we are a mind
filled with sins
thoughts, greed, desire
pain
pure thoughts
love
and heart ache
ever inch of our being
can be justified by something in our minds
who am i
am i smart
beautiful, skillful
sad, slick, crazy or dumb
these justifications
we place on ourselves
to class US into something
who am i
defines nothing
because we are not simply something
we are a complexity of everything
who am i
am i where I'm suppose to be
am i being me
who will i be
in the future
where will our love come from
how will we frame our minds into
something to claim that we are...
i am who i will be
because it is apart of what i used to be
who i am
will show you: myself, i and me
who am i
am i quiet and compassionate
loud and obnoxious
calm and carefree
who am i
does each day set my soul on fire
does love make my heart go pitter patter
or do i cringe in pain at each happy thought
is my soul seemingly bleak
or my spirit corrupted with lies
does any of this sound like me
who am i
who is ME
do i have a marking, a name
a label that refers to me
can i be fit into a category
who am i
or what am i,
what am i at least to me?

Who we are is an ever changing process and who you are to yourself and to all the people you ever met are always completely different.
There is no "one" us, there is an us that exists in our own mind, in the mind of our friends, family, our lovers, our enemies, it can get quite tiring to figure out all of them
